Chingon (Perfecto)
Perfecto · 45–70 min smoke · A classic figurado tapered at BOTH ends — a closed foot and a rounded head that swell to a bulge in the middle, so the draw and burn evolve as you smoke.
At the counter · Light the closed, pointed slowly and patiently so it opens evenly; shallow straight cut on the tapered head — let the burn widen into the bulge.
Tasting
A limited return of Matt Booth's Namakubi in a hefty San Andres maduro perfecto, laying down layered dark chocolate, black pepper, leather and a touch of dried fruit sweetness. Rich, oily and rounded with an aged, savory core. · Released 2025
Pairs with
Caramel and honey echo the port's nutty raisin sweetness for a dessert-like close.
Corn-sweet vanilla underlines the confectionary notes already in the smoke.
